Welcome to Viking Cottage Glenuig on the West Coast of Scotland!

Viking Cottage offers coastal self-catering getaway in the beautiful village of Glenuig, overlooking the Sound of Arisaig.  It is a only a short walk from Samalaman Beach with its white sands and views across to the Small Isles.

We offer self-catering in a modern, triple glazed, fully insulated, and recently renovated property with four bedrooms, all with Glenuig bay views, one bathroom, shower room and a sizeable living/dining room with a multi burner. The combination of the multi burner and the newly installed Electric Storage Heating System offers a comfortable experience. This makes it a cosy retreat in the winter, as well as being in the heart of the Outdoor Capital.

Glenuig is in the Highlands of Scotland in Ardnamurchan, not far from the Road-to-the-Isles, in the historic Moidart area. Arisaig, Mallaig and Acharacle are all within easy reach and the drive from Fort William takes only 50 minutes (35 miles). Glenuig is a small community close to Bonnie Prince Charlie’s first landing place.

The cottage is perfect for a couple, family or groups of up to 7 and is well appointed with downstairs bedrooms and bathroom, allowing for those with mobility difficulties; the garden is enclosed with mature trees, and parking for two cars.

NOTE: The property is not suitable for very large dogs.

There are a few steps to climb before accessing the cottage from the roadside and parking area for 2 cars. The garden is post and rail fenced and is not considered as secure . Dogs and small children should be supervised at all times.
